Iraq Relations Committee

Objectives of establishing the Committee:

To draw the attention of Russian businesses to Iraq and shift exporters’ focus from highly competitive Middle Eastern countries to a dynamically developing market with strong cooperation potential;

To provide information on the specifics of doing business with Iraq, upcoming tenders and projects, market characteristics, and export volumes from the Russian Federation, as well as to facilitate and support market entry and development;

To organize the participation of AEI residents in Russian and international business events.

Tasks of the Committee and services provided to AEI members:

Providing informational support to businesses on the specifics of the Iraqi market;
Assisting with the turnkey establishment of company branches in Iraq;
Supporting Russian companies in entering the market, including assistance with negotiations, transport, and financial logistics;
Organizing industry-specific events (business breakfasts, online and offline meetings, conferences);
Organizing business missions from Russia to Iraq;
Facilitating participation in specialized exhibitions;
Organizing collective and individual exhibition stands;
Supporting import operations and sales within Iraqi retail chains;
Providing on-the-ground support during business meetings in Baghdad;
Offering business representation services in Iraq.

What has the Committee accomplished?

Roundtable of the Committee on cooperation with the UAE and Gulf countries. The Committee Chair, Yulia Kuvarzina, participated in the event as an invited speaker.
