BUSINESS MISSION // VIETNAM 2026
We began the business mission with a working meeting with the Chairman of the International Relations Department of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Nguyen Tuan Hai, and are also holding negotiations with the Ministry of Finance of Vietnam and the Foreign Investment Department.
We are setting the pace from day one — with many more negotiations and partnerships ahead.
Opening of the крупнейшая international exhibition Vietnam Expo 2026
The Association of Exporters and Importers is part of the official Russian delegation. This year, the exhibition format has become even broader and larger in scale.
During the official opening ceremony, Mr. Le Hoang Tai, Deputy Director of the Trade Promotion Department of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam, emphasized the importance of business adaptability to global challenges and the role of international exhibitions in fostering cooperation and expanding markets.
Russian–Vietnamese economic cooperation continues to develop actively: Russia remains one of Vietnam’s key partners in the industrial and energy sectors, while the implementation of the Free Trade Agreement between Vietnam and the Eurasian Economic Union provides an additional boost to bilateral trade growth.
Trade turnover between the countries continues to grow steadily, and the range of export and import goods is constantly expanding.
In 2027, the Association will organize a large-scale business mission to Vietnam with a collective stand at Vietnam Expo, continuing the already established business ties and opening up new opportunities for international cooperation.
Today, the delegation of the Association of Exporters and Importers, led by AEI President Artur Leer, with the participation of AEI Vice President Irina Zasedatel, Chair of the AEI Committee for Cooperation with Vietnam Anastasia Sayanok, and Advisor to the AEI President for International Market Development and Strategic Partnerships Maxim Kolomiets, held a series of key meetings aimed at developing bilateral cooperation and strengthening business relations:
- VIETRADE — discussion of opportunities for promoting Russian companies in international markets and joint projects;
- Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam — dialogue on expanding industrial cooperation and supporting export initiatives;
- VINACHEM, the National Chemical Group of Vietnam — negotiations on the supply of fertilizers, industrial raw materials, and equipment.
Following the meetings, concrete steps have been outlined for the development of bilateral cooperation, expansion of business contacts, and launch of joint projects.
Join us in building new business connections!
